I love the extra level of community and teamwork that swimming in college adds to the sport, and I have wanted to swim on a collegiate level since I became a serious swimmer. I consistently work very hard to perform well both in the pool the classroom, and I am looking for a program that will push me and help me grow in both regards, as well as prepare me for my future.
I am a very competitive person and I'm always up for a race, no matter who my opponent is. I am always willing to make changes to my strokes or try out races that I don't usually compete in. Both my coach, Mohammad Khadembashi, and the head coach of my team, Dave Kelsheimer, are national level coaches and have taught me how to train at a very high level.
I attend Marlborough School in Los Angeles, which is known for its rigorous academics, and I think it has and will prepare me well for college. I have maintained a high GPA for both my freshman and sophomore years of high school, and will continue to work hard for the next two years. School is very important to me and I look forward to finding the right school that will best suit my passions.
