I have been a swimmer since I was 6 years old when I decided to join the small community club team that was right across from my house. Ever since then, I have never stopped swimming and have honestly never looked back.
I am competitive and dedicated to my sport and my team mates, I believe my teammates can challenge me to always give swimming my best. I definitely know my strokes need some work to master technique, but I am ready to really push myself to achieve my goals. I consider myself a team player and believe I am someone who can work very well and easily with others. I am always positive and I try my best every day to have a growth mindset. I want to become a better swimmer and person at college. What I really want in a school is somewhere where I can become really well-rounded and find a balance of athletics and academics.
In college I want to be challenged not only in swimming by my teammates, but also by my peers in school. Growth mind set is an important aspect of both education and swimming for me, where my goal is to become the best version of myself. My academics are very important to me and I want to push myself to be the best I can possibly be.
