For as long as I can remember, I have thought of myself as a swimmer. As I have gotten older, I have learned that there is more to me, and to life, than just swimming. Because the sport of swimming is such a big part of my world, I know I want to swim in college, but I also know that I want to find a college with a program that emphasizes my education as much as my athletic endeavors. Similarly, I want a program that is as interested in me as a person and not just as a swimmer. I believe that swimming has made me better as a person, a student, a family member, and a friend, I am looking for a college swim program that will allow me to continue to grow as a person and as someone who leads by demonstrating the work ethic and love of swimming, and who also seeks to excel intellectually and personally.
