William Bennett '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Bennett, and I am a 2022 graduate of Marin Academy, an academically rigorous, private high school in San Rafael, CA. I play first base and catch as my secondary position. I am looking to play collegiate baseball at an academically selective college.

Since I was four years old, I have played baseball and hope to continue pursuing this passion in college. As a freshman on our varsity baseball team, I was recognized as an All-League Honorable Mention. Unfortunately, last year, awards were not given out because the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted our season.

In the classroom, I have an unweighted 3.84 GPA with a current  SAT score of 1510 (730 EBRW 780 Math). I am taking five Honors classes out of my six total classes. In addition to this, I am part of the Community Action Leadership Council at Marin Academy, attend Tiburon Baptist Church on Wednesday nights, and play varsity basketball as a starting small forward.

I am a coachable player who works hard both on and off the field and in and out of the classroom. I hope to find the right college for me that meets both my academic and athletic interests.
