I’ve been a lifelong swimmer and have played water polo since 7th grade. Even from the first practice I ever had, the sport has pushed me to work harder and become a better athlete, and I feel that my experience playing has contributed greatly to my work ethic in all areas of my life. While I’ve learned to work hard over my years of playing, I’ve also learned how to adjust to various positions on each team I’ve played with, finding where I can fit to best support the team in our goal to succeed. Recently, as a team captain, I’ve had to learn how to fill a leadership role that I was unaccustomed to occupying and navigate the responsibilities that come with it.
Academically, I work to maintain a 3.8 GPA while also participating in clubs and putting my aquatics experience to work as a lifeguard.
I hope to study at a school where I can push my athletic limits while preparing myself for success in the post-academic world.
