Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What I value in a swim team is the connections you make with the your teammates and coaches. In 2019, I made the hard decision to switch from the only club team I had been on and made the switch to the Front Range Barracudas (CUDA). When I got to CUDA, I found teammates and coaches that were pushing me to try new events and become the best swimmer I could possibly be. I have learned how to be a mentally tough athlete and greatly improved my technique and times. If you ask my teammates on high school swimming, they would say I am definitely the loudest when it comes to cheering on my team! As I prepare to move forward to the collegiate level, I am looking for a school with a good forensics program and a mix between academics and athletics. In a college, team it's very important to me to have a team and coaches that are supporting of each other, and all working together to improve ourselves in and out of the water.
