My name is Jamisyn Stacy, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to swim competitively in college. I love swimming, I am very dedicated to the sport, and I am willing to put in the work to achieve my goals. To me, this work ethic is definitely one of my strengths, whether it is academics or swimming, I always put my best effort forward. I have challenged myself throughout high school to take honors, AP, and IB classes and I have been able to maintain an unweighted GPA of 3.9 and a weighted GPA of 4.88. I have also challenged myself as a swimmer to keep pushing myself both at practice and in competitions. Although I am not as experienced as other swimmers, I have challenged myself to keep going and reach my goals. I was able to drop 10 seconds in the 100 fly over the course of the last year, and I can't wait to drop even more throughout the next year and a half of my high school career. I still have a lot to improve on and I can't wait to see where all my hard work and dedication will get me!
