My goal is to compete at a high level for both athletics and academics. In order to reach these goals that I have set for myself, I value each practice by challenging myself each day along with learning everyday of how to better myself from my coaches feedback. I have gradually overcome the mental and physical challenges presented to me over the years, this allows me to fight through those challenging sets by having positive thoughts throughout practice and meets.
I take value in my work ethic and positivity that I am able to present at practice, to make those hard and discouraging days better for everyone. I believe every team needs leaders to exemplify how a team should act and preform at practice as a whole, through my coach ability and positive mindset I believe I could attribute this to the team.
Over the years I have partaken in many other athletics, such as boxing, soccer, and volleyball. Each of these sports have helped me in disparate ways. For example, boxing improved my mental and physical capabilities drastically, where as soccer and volleyball improved my positivity and patience.
I plan to go into Marine Mammalogy, I have always had an obsession with large marine life, especially sharks and dolphins. I am an A and B student, I participate in as many AP and honors classes that I am able to take at my school.
