I have been swimming competitively for over eight years and it is my passion. Continuing my swimming careers at the collegiate level has been one of my goals since the very beginning. The thing I love most about swimming is the team atmosphere, being around others and watching others succeed and encouraging each other to make being a part of a team exciting. Swimming has helped me to become the person I am today by teaching what it means to be a teammate, what hard work can do, and how to accept failure. I have built a trusting relationship with my coaches and have formed strong bonds with my teammates. While swimming on my high school team my love for the sport has grown and I don't want my swimming career to end after high school. I would love to attend a college that not only challenges me in the pool but also in the classroom. Being in the pool makes me so happy and has made me want to go to practice as much as possible.
