I started swimming when I was 6 years old on a summer league. I instantly fell in love with the sport, and after I joined a competitive swim team. All throughout grade school, I played volleyball, basketball, and softball, but I had to make a decision on what sport I wanted to continue. And that was swimming. I have always enjoyed being part of a team, and my team now is like a family. When looking for a college I want a team that has a positive atmosphere and encouraging people. I love cheering for teammates at meets, and I have been told I am a positive person. I'm also a very hard working and determined individual in and out of the pool. I have had good grades my whole life, and I plan to continue that in college. The field I would like to go into is medical because I want to help people and make a difference. I have learned throughout grade school and high school to manage my time and prioritize things well. Overall, I want to find a school so I can reach my academic goals, swim on a team that I fit into, and become a well-rounded person.
