2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Since I started swimming competitively at age 10, I knew this was the sport for me. I absolutely love the water and the excitement during competition. I'm very determined & hardworking in practice and I know how important it is to give my best all the time for myself & my teammates. Collegiately, I am looking for a college that meets my academic needs (agriculture major) and a swim team that will most certainly build me into a better swimmer to achieve my long term goals. One goal of mine is to make the Olympic Trials in 2024 when I am a junior in college, so right now I need to find the right coaches and team environment that can help me reach that goal.

- Sadly, the Spring Championships I was planning on competing at (IN Senior State & Speedo Sectionals) were canceled to due COVID-19. Consequently, I was not able to have the chance to improve times other than my high school events, in which I felt I was highly capable of doing this season. I was also very sick during Sectionals and High School State this year with the flu, preventing me to swim as well as I had been training. I have included my in-season times from the few club meets I was able to compete in (SCY).

- I swam three events (50, 100 & 200 Free) & one time trial (100 Back) at Winter Juniors. I went a best times in the 50 Free (23.69) & 100 Back (58.36) and a season-best time in the 100 Free (51.18).

- 6/15/19 to 6/22/19
- The top 20 men & women in Indiana from 15-18 were invited to this training camp featuring Jack Roach & Aaron Peirsol and the best coaches in Indiana. Jack Roach & Aaron Peirsol stayed with us all week at the Olympic Training Center giving us amazing insights & experiences about swimming & life. We even were able to train with Team Elite for one practice under Coach David Marsh. Looking back, this camp was one of the most influential weeks of my swimming career & impacted me greatly.
