My name is Madison Castell. My life long goal since I was younger is to compete in college swimming. I started swimming at a very young age and my love for the sport has grown tremendously over the years. I've been swimming for a summer team for 9 years and joined the Vandebilt Catholic high school team in 2015, my 8th grade year. I give my best effort at every practice and training session and put in the extra hours to better myself and my times. I am a very coachable athlete and accept any and every helpful tips that I receive. Through swimming, I have made many endless friendships that I will indeed cherish forever. I strive to be the best teammate and friend to those around me. I always show up to practice ready to push myself and my teammates. Not only am I dedicated to swimming, I am just as dedicated in the classroom. I finished my 8th grade, freshman, and sophomore year with a 4.0 GPA and plan to do the same throughout the rest of my high school years. Thank you.
