victoria kalinowski '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Victoria Kalinowski and i am currently a 15 year old sophomore attending Harford Technical High School in Bel Air, Maryland. I started my professional swimming career at 10 years of age, but have been doing summer leagues since 8, and it is one of my biggest dreams to be able to swim at the collegiate level. One of the most important things swimming has taught me is perseverance and balance. Having to balance swimming and academics can, at times be very challenging, but every time i come through and do the best i can. It has also taught me that a positive mind set and attitude is key to being successful, because then, anything is possible. My goals, along with swimming, is to attend a college where i enjoy both the academics and on-deck time. I am interested in applying to a biological program or pre dental program, as i would like to have a future career in orthodontics. I understand that my goals will take a lot time and effort in and outside of the pool, but i am determined to try my hardest, and do what i have to in order to succeed in the pool, and my future life.
