Personal Statement
My name is Rachel Weland and I have been swimming since I was little. I loved swimming and wanted to do it competitively, so I convinced my mom to let my sister, Zoe, and I join. We swam for the YMCA for about six years before transferring over to a private club team named Millard Aquatic Club. I really love being in the water and the competition of swimming is so much fun. I would love to swim in college, it’s a new challenge and I’m excited for all the people I would meet.
