My collegiate goals are to work as hard as I can in my classes as well as meet new people. I am extremely hard-working in and out of the pool. I also have a great attitude during practice and am always supportive of my teammates. I hold myself to a high standard and am willing to prove myself in academics as well as athletics.
I have been swimming for about eight years now and am in love with the sport. I love the hard sets and waking up early in the mornings. Swimming is an extremely demanding sport, but that is what makes it exciting. One of my favorite parts about swimming is having to go through the difficult sets and doing it with a team. I am always pushing others and myself during practice and trying to stay as positive as I possibly can be while working hard. I am an amazing listener and exceptionally attentive. I would make a great addition to your team!
I started swimming when I was eight years old. I was watching a movie called "An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong." The lead girl in the movie was the star swimmer of her middle school's swim team and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I decided to practice swimming that entire summer and taught myself how to dive. In September, my mom signed me up for a local club team and I got started. I instantly fell in love.
