Jessica Ebner '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessica Ebner. I am a junior at Monroe Woodbury High School and have been a member of our varsity swim team since 7th grade. I will be a returning captain for the 2019 season, as I was one of the captains during the 2018 season. The 100 fly and the 100 back are my two main events for my school team, but I am used anywhere there is a need to gain points in tight competitions. I have been swimming year round on the Monroe Woodbury Devilfish since I was 5 years old and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. As a team leader, and someone who is often looked up to by younger swimmers, I believe I could easily be a positive contribute to a college swim team because I have an ongoing positive view and I am not afraid to go out of my way to help others. My goal for college is to balance myself between my love for the sport, and my dedication in the classroom. I currently hold a 91-94 percentage gpa, which shows I have learned to fulfill my requirements in school, while practicing for 2-3 hours a night. I am looking forward to my future in this sport.
