Sarah Spanburgh '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! Although I've only been swimming for two years, I have fallen in love with the sport. I may not be the fastest on the team, but I have a lot more to offer. I love to help, whether it's timing, lap counting, or just encouraging the team during a difficult set. I also love the team atmosphere, making friends with all of my teammates, and cheering for them at meets! I believe I have a lot of potential to improve, both in the remainder of my high school season and when I reach college, where I can begin weight training and take advantage of a more vigorous practice schedule. As well as swimming, academics are very important to me, and I strive to maintain a healthy balance between the two. I look forward to my college years, and can't wait to find the perfect team to spend them with!
