Personal Statement
I am a very dedicated and hard working student athlete. I have achieved straight A's in all of my classes in Middle School and High School. I pride myself in being the number 1 ranked student out of 544 students in my Senior Class. I am a silent leader that leads by example but not with strong words. I am just as dedicated in the pool as I am in the classroom. I have maintain a very high practice attendance percentage since joining the YSSC swim team at age 13, when I fell in love with swimming.
I am very proud to say I qualified for the YMCA National Team at the age of 14 and have been competing at YMCA Nationals long & short course meets every year since I made my first cut. I currently have YNAT cuts in the 200 Fly, 400 IM and the 100 Fly.
My college aspirations are to secure my undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-med. I am very focused and want to continue on to higher education pursuing a medical degree. My college selection will be influenced by both educational and athletic programs.
