Personal Statement
Hi my name is Ivani Kamidoi. Swimming has been a passion of mine since i was little. I became serious about swimming at 8 years of age. Swimming interests me in so many ways. i love the competitiveness, learning techniques from multiple amazing coaches, and having great teammates by my side. i can not only have individual goals, but team goals as well.
The one person that has influenced me the most is my late father. It was hard to keep going when he died the first day of high school in 2015. But i knew that no matter what, he would not want me to quit. Doing the best i can swimming and going to college is what he wanted me for, and these have become my #1 goals.
Bottom line, i am truly dedicated to becoming the best swimmer that i can. I look forward to anything anyone can teach me to continue with this goal.
In addition to my swimming goal, I am interested in becoming a accountant, immigration lawyer or a health specialist.
