Isabella Vega '20 Recruiting Profile

The reason i'd like this opportunity is to better my future, not only for myself but for my family.   I have been involved in sports since a very young age.  I played softball from the age of three until my freshman year in high school.  During my freshman year, I decided I wanted to try out for the swimming team.  I fell in love with the sport.  I truly found myself in swimming.  What i feel i could bring to your team would be determination, leadership, accountability, and I will always strive to bring my all to the team.  I currently have a 3.5 GPA, I work extremely hard and am very dedicated to my academics and to our swim team.  I am currently the captain of our swim team at Edinburg High School.  Last year, my 200 medley relay team broke the school record with a time of 2:15.13.  Swimming is my passion and I want to pursue it in college.  Thank you for this amazing opportunity.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.
