2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
In the pool we should be seeking a healthy atmosphere of family, fitness, friendship, and fun. My eventual jump out of a basic "learn to swim" program into a USA club level swimming program is when I was inspired to maximize my ability and competitive spirit. The contrast between recreational neighborhood swim meets and Texas Age Group Championships was when I personally began to grow and find myself shaping into a leader through perseverance and competition. I am searching for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
