2018 Highlights Personal Statement
As a young child, I was a gymnast and cheerleader. My mom runs a gymnastics training center, so that was just what we did; but, when I was nine I found my love for swimming! I was never thrilled about performing in front of people, so swimming was perfect. I could put my head down and just race. I started out in summer league which lead to year round, and six years later here I am dreaming of swimming in college.
I am a team player. My USA Swimming Coach recently called me “the glue that holds the team together”. I get along with people of all personality types, and I am welcoming to new teammates. I am fiercely loyal and protective of my friends, teammates and family. I truly love my school, summer and USA swimming teammates.
I would love the opportunity to be on my school team in college. I am open minded about the size of the school and location. At this point, I am interested in attending a Christian University, but I am open to a public university with Christian organizations to be a part of. I am just starting my college search, so I am excited to see what God has in store for me!
