Ever since I was a kid, in both school and swimming, I have developed a drive from which I do not deviate. I take swimming and academics very seriously and my dedication to both has lead me to success. I am a very hard worker and do not back down from a challenge. I am captain of the girls swim team at my high school and my main goal is to keep my team growing and motivated to do their best. Team unity and support is a very important thing to me because without a strong team foundation and a positive environment, our team will suffer. In my academics, I have never finished a class with less than an "A" and I take only Advanced and AP courses. Challenges are not a scary thing for me and I face them head on in both school and swimming. In college I hope to enter a STEM field and pursue a medical degree and possibly minor in music and performing arts. I have wanted to swim in college for a very long time and I hope to achieve that goal and further my swimming career.
