Swimming has been part of who I am since a very early age. I am third generation competitive swimmer; my dad swam at college level, as well as my grandfather. I have been very fortunate that my passion is also my talent.
I have been blessed to have swam in international meets in Germany, Puerto Rico, and England. At 13, I finished first place in my age group, at the Shark Fest- Lady Liberty, open water event around the Statue of Liberty in New York. I have a very competitive nature and always strive for developing my skills. Because I am self-motivated, I tend to be in leadership roles among my peers in and out of the water.
Swimming has helped me define the career I want to pursue in college. I am interested in a career as an athletic trainer, or in the sports marketing area. My grades and GPA demonstrate that I am a hard worker and enthusiastic learner.
I want to attend a college where I can soar as an athlete while I push myself in the classroom. I am open to find the right college that match my skills and interests while swimming at the highest level of competition possible. Ultimately, I hope my college years are filled with wonderful moments and accomplishments to remember.
