I plan to go to college and acquire a degree that will help me do something I love, help me to share my gifts/talents, and hopefully lead to me making a difference in this world. I would be a good candidate because I am very successful academically as well as physically. I am a hard worker and strive to be the best at whatever I commit to. I would say I am different than other candidates because I am no afraid to try new things and gain experience in a wide variety of activities. I am involved in many clubs, two sports, UIL academics, and all honor classes. I believe in loyalty and commitment very strongly. They are two characteristics that I think should be carried in the hearts of every person no matter what they are doing. I think this mindset differentiates me from other candidates and makes me a better human being all together. Knowing what you believe in allows you to choose where you want to go and the goals you need to achieve to succeed. I would say that I am different academically because academics set the cornerstone to my future. Knowledge is something no one can take away from you so I might as well soak it up now. I don't think most kids in high school understand the importance or how lucky we are to have the opportunity and the freedom to learn in a safe and healthy environment. Along with my distinguishable characteristics in academics I am successful in athletics which is not something everyone can say they have both the success physically and mentally. I thank you for giving me the time to share a little about me.
