My name is Caroline Lopez, and I have been playing tennis for ten years years, among other sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and cross country. Sports have always come naturally to me and I enjoy being competitive and pushing my body, but I knew I had to choose between my sports when the time came. I strive to build mental and physical toughness through competition, and that is why tennis in particular became my focus and passion. I practice five to seven times a week, or about 15-20 hours. Those days can be mostly fitness, mostly tennis, or a good balance of both. My training is geared around playing competitive USTA singles, but I also have USTA doubles experience. My primary training takes place at Flint Canyon Tennis Club in La Cañada Flintridge, California. As a student at one of the highest ranked all-girls high school in the nation, I know how to balance academics and athletics to provide myself with the most fulfilling experiences.
