Hi, my name is Brooklyn Beck, I am a sophomore at Point Loma High School in San Diego, CA. I have been playing tennis almost my whole life, growing up in a family who loves the sport. I have been on my school's varsity tennis team since freshman year. I am really motivated at school regarding my education, with a weighted GPA of 4.38. I have a very hard working, friendly, and outgoing personality on and off the courts. If I set my mind to something I can always find a way to achieve it.
My short term goals right now are to start playing a lot more tournaments especially with my school season ending, and summer coming up. I want to raise my UTR rating a lot and become number one singles on my team next year, (right now I am singles 3). I want to be training a lot more to improve, and start going to tournaments out of my town, allowing me to compete at a higher level.
My long term goals are to play tennis at a school that also has great education and gives me a good social life, somewhere that would be a great fit for me. As I get better, I want to learn from those who are at higher levels than me, and be the best player I could be. I want to reach a skill level one day that I never thought I could get to.
