Hi my name is Kava - I play number one singles for San Rafael my 8/10/11 grades and am in the top two players in Marin county. I also played internationally in Tonga, Fiji, Samoa when I was in the 8th grade. I love tennis and can serve over 100mph. I haven’t had tennis lessons in the last four years maybe only five lessons but train on my own. My family doesn’t have much money so it’s hard to enter weekend usta tournaments. Many people have said I could go far in tennis and love my style of play - very hard forehand and serve. I love tennis and want to play in college and I hope you will choose me. I will upload my video soon and can also come out to your school to play. I have beat ranked it’s players that play here in Marin for high schools and I know if I had training and money for lessons I could be better. All of my counterparts have daily private lessons and attend private or rich schools. I am trying my hardest to train on my own and none of my family plays tennis. I also received first team all county all my highschool years. I have only played number one position no one has beaten me for the spot. I have dealt with adversity and am a fighter and with good college training will be able to bring attention to the college. If only I had the chance to hit with one of you. I love tennis because it saved me from a life of poverty. Coming from a single household income and not much money I realized that I had to work hard in tennis and life to make it. Tennis has helped me to be self reliant and to be tough. Thank you for reading this and please call me at 714-443-8077
