Hi! I am in my sophomore year in high school (10th grade) and live in the Bay Area, California. I started playing tennis in my freshman year of high school I became very dedicated. I am now on my high school tennis team, top of JV, fighting for a spot on varsity. In season I practice 3 hours a day Monday-Friday and about the same on the weekends. During the off-season, I practice about 4-5 days a week for about 3 hours. When I practice I like to work on specific things that I need to fix like, form, footwork, or strategy. I play a lot of practice matches, do drills, rally, and serve. Aside from tennis, I focus a great deal on my studies. I maintained a 4.2 GPA in my freshman year, taking 1 honors class and competing on my school's speech and debate team. This year my sophomore year I am enrolled in 2 honors classes and am on my school varsity speech and debate team. I am hoping to play on a college team while pursuing a degree in engineering and computer science.
