I am a four-year Varsity athlete at Fountain Valley School of Colorado. I have played and competed as Varsity Number 1 Singles my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year of High School. Throughout my three years on the team, I have consistently exhibited an exceptional work ethic and passion for the sport. I was elected as the team captain my Sophomore and Junior years, and this past Spring I was awarded the "Coaches Award." I've been a leader and role model on the team for three years in a row, not only because of my skill but also because of my attitude and overall positivity on and off the court. I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old and have grown up taking lessons ever since then. I demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and coachability, and I strive to be the best I can every day on the court.
I want to attend a 4-year college and study natural sciences and pre-medicine. School and academics have always been very important to me, and I strive to achieve academic excellence through a variety of challenging courses every year, which I know will continue as I progress beyond High School and into college. Aside from tennis, I am an accomplished violinist who has been playing for 13 years, many of which I have spent performing with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony.
I am looking forward to my next chapter in college, and I hope you can see me as a good fit for your tennis team!
