Victoria Taylor '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Victoria Taylor and I have been playing tennis consistently since the age of 4! I love playing tennis because it's such a fun sport and a great way to relieve stress.  I also believe a tennis match is similar to life. Sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down, but if you stay determined, focused on your goals, and make adjustments when necessary, you will have a much better chance at being successful! I'm on the court at least 3-4 times a week because I'm determined to get in as much practice as possible to improve my game.  Additionally, I exercise the days I'm not on the tennis court in order to improve my strength and conditioning.  My goal is to reach the highest level of competitive tennis possible, and playing at the collegiate level is a target I'm focused on hitting!  

Besides playing tennis, I'm involved in other extracurricular activities such as Girl Scouts, Model U.N., Debate, and Life Skills club. I'm also bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish. Being able to speak another language has been amazing since I love learning about different cultures and traditions. I've also been able to connect with more people.

In summary, I believe I would make a great addition to your team because I'm open minded, receptive to coaching, and always willing to help others when needed.
