My name is Caitlin Connors. I am entering my Junior year at Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA. I am enrolled in advanced honors and AP classes and will graduate in 2025. I participate in many clubs and am actively helping out at my local Food Pantry. While I play three sports, my passion is tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was old enough to hold a racquet. I am fortunate to have a grandmother with a tennis court in her backyard. My uncle played Division 1 tennis at UVM. Since I was little, I played tennis with my older brother, a current student at Boston College (former Austin Prep Tennis captain) who has increased my level of play. I play at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, MA and take lessons with two private coaches. I play in USTA & UTR tournaments. On the Austin Prep Varsity Tennis Team, I play first singles and first doubles. I played second and first singles during my freshman year (2021). My freshman record was 23-2. One of those losses was avenged and I won 6-3,6-0. With 10 of my 17 regular season tennis matches as 6-0,6-0 wins. I was named Boston Globe 2021-22 Girls’ Tennis All-Scholastics All-Star. I hope to play tennis at the collegiate level. Sophomore year I was named MVP and received the All-NEPSAC 2022-2023 Class A award. My coach and the athletic board also picked me as the Student Athlete of the Week. I can offer a lot to your program and always encourage my teammates!
