Isabel Thelen '24 Recruiting Profile

I grew to like this sport a lot in the last year and have joined USTA tournaments to improve. Recently, I have decided that I am interested in playing at the next level because I know that I will make a big impact and I am not ready to say goodbye to tennis. I have been playing for about 3 years now and have achieved so much such as Lansing State Journal athlete of the week, first team all state, 3x first team all conference, 2x MVP, 3x All academic award, reached states quarterfinals as a freshman on varsity, made it to states every year, Regionals champion, team captain, Golden match and Silver Match, and most improved. I know that from here on out, I’ll improve so much and so fast due to how athletic and easily I pick up sports. The first time I played in a USTA tournament was at the beginning of summer 2023 and I won 1st place. I’ve always been athletic and hard working in everything I do and I’m excited to continue to put in the work!!!!!
