Ever since I first picked up a racket, all I've wanted to do is play tennis. While I have competed in many sports throughout my life, tennis was the one that I always kept coming back to. When I began high school, I decided to focus more on tennis to fulfill my dream of playing on a college tennis team. My rankings may not be as strong as some coaches would look for, but I have made significant progress in the past 8 months since switching academies and am focused on continuing this progress during the next two years of high school. Since the beginning of 2020, I have improved over 750 national ranking spots on USTA and was even named on the Hot 100 list by Tennis Recruiting.net in January. I believe that I am a great candidate for college tennis because I will always work hard and listen to what a coach recommends. I never give up and this translates into the way I play tennis since I will fight until the end. While I know how to be competitive on the court, I also value the friendships made as a member of a team as these bonds can last a lifetime. I am also very strong academically with straight A's in rigorous classes and believe I would make an excellent addition to your team.
