My collegiate goals are very focused, and I want to get the most out of my college education. As a hardworking and focused student, I hope to master the degree I am pursuing to the best of my abilities, form strong bonds with diverse and intelligent people, and grow into a more knowledgeable and experienced individual. I aspire to become a lawyer by achieving satisfactory grades, and gaining experience through internships, and other means. My aspirations in tennis are to play at a higher level with skilled players, to continue to grow physically and mentally through the sport, and to push myself harder every day to play to the best of my abilities. My dedication and discipline make me a good candidate for the team because I choose to make the most out of my time on the court knowing that every day counts towards a greater goal. In addition, my competitiveness makes me a good candidate because keeps me on my A-game. I also enjoy being able to assist others as much as possible, so giving advice to my tennis teammates, cheering them on, and supporting them when they are demotivated are all activities I enjoy. I believe that my "stubbornness" distinguishes me from other recruits because when I set my mind to something, I will do everything in my power to succeed in that field. I believe I must give it my all in order to be satisfied with the outcome. In tennis, this could be as simple as hitting a forehand 50 times to one corner of the court or consistently serving in each spot of the box. Also, this "stubbornness" keeps me humble in some ways because when I fail at something, I realize that I gave it my all and that is enough.
