My name is Caitlin Hogan. In the Fall I will be a Junior at Penfield High School and a member of the class of 2020. I have been playing tennis since I was 3 years old. I also played lacrosse but 2 years ago gave it up to focus more on my tennis game. Since 7th grade I have been playing #1 Singles for Penfield High School and received the prestigious award from the Democrat & Chronicle being named as one of the top 10 girls tennis players in the area for the All Greater Rochester Award for Girls Tennis 2016 & 2017. I also received the 1st Team All-County Award, Scholastic Athlete Award and Section V State Qualifier for all 4 years from 2014-2017. In 2016 & 2017 I have received the Most Valuable Player Award and this year I am the team captain.
In school I work very hard to achieve a 93 gpa. I have been in advanced math for the last 5 years and have achieved High Honor Roll every semester of high school. I also serve on the Sophomore Student Council, which helps organize fundraisers and student activities. In my spare time I model for Mary Therese Friel, LLC and volunteer many hours donating food to the homeless and help raising money for Lollypop Farm. I am also a member of the Varsity Club, Key Club and Ambassador Club at Penfield High School. This year I received the Outstanding Young Citizen of the Year Award for Monroe County for my leadership and community service.
Moving into my Junior Year in High School I understand how important hard work is to achieve my goals. I am excited about my future as a student-athlete and work hard every day to make sure I am the best student and best athlete I can be
Thank you for your time,
Caitlin
