I am a Junior at The Oakwood School in North Carolina and a duel sport athlete playing both tennis and soccer. I am a part of many clubs and academic societies at my school and do community service throughout the year. I aspire to be the best student and athlete I can be to my teammates and understand that playing a sport is not only a commitment but a privilege. Sports has given me many traits in life, including: goals, strategic planning, motivation, leadership, hard work, and the benefits of healthy competition. I take academics and sports very seriously, I know how to motivate myself to do better and consistently focus on both schoolwork and athletic training. I strive to better myself both academically and athletically for both myself and my teammates. I understand the vital role teamwork plays in a sport and how the better a team works together, the better the they will be. My goal is to eventually graduate from college and have a career in the science and biology field, preferably working with animals.
