My name is Raegan Hylton, and I am a Mount Pleasant High School (NC) 2026 graduate. I’ve been exposed to tennis since I was 5, and my parents and coaches have encouraged my ever-growing love of the sport. I see everyday as a new opportunity to improve and grow as an athlete and as a person.
I have always has a deep rooted love of athletics since I was a little girl, and sports seasons are when I’m happiest. I love the sense of community, the determination, the effort, and the ability to play the sport I love for my school alongside the people I hold dear to my heart.
I played the #2 seed for both singles and doubles my freshman year. I was awarded all-conference, and an individual sportsmanship award from my coach. I won my conference in doubles, later advancing to regionals. My sophomore year, I was the #1 seed for both singles and doubles. I was awarded all-conference and won conference doubles again which qualified me for regional play. In my most recent season as a junior I continued to play at the #1 seed. I won conference in singles, advancing to regionals. I was awarded all-conference as well as YVC Player of the Year.
After highschool, I plan on attending a 4 year college, and possibly a community college for a short period of time, to achieve the minimum of a bachelor's degree in something within the science field. I have always had a love of learning and an excited to be able to expand my knowledge in college.
