Isabella Cepeda '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella Cepeda. I was born in Austin, Texas and I am currently a Senior at Georgetown High School.  I started playing tennis at age 6 and golf at age 11.

I made the Varsity teams for both Tennis and Golf as a Freshman. Some of my achievements are:

TENNIS 2021: 1st Team Fall Tennis 5A State Championship Qualifier / Regional & District Team Champions - Played #1 Singles and #2 Doubles

Fall 2018 - Spring 2021: 1st Team Fall Tennis 5A State Championship Qualifier / Regional & District Team Champions - Played #2 Singles and #2 Doubles1st Team Regional Spring Singles Qualifier 2021 / Area District Singles Champion State Alternate (3^rd) Spring Individual 5A Regionals / Area District #1 Singles Champion

GOLF 2018-2021: 1st Team Golf Spring 5A Regional Conference 5A Team Qualifiers / Area District Champions. Third Team Area District. Shot a personal best of 75 at a high school tournament at the Georgetown Country Club.

My academic schedule includes AP classes in History, Psychology, English, Biology and Spanish. My current GPA is 3.4. I also speak Spanish fluently, and I love to be creative, making and trying new things daily. Being an athlete and a part of teams have taught me many important and valuable life lessons. It has taught me what being part of a team and family really means and how to be patient and mentally strong.

As I look to my future, I want to be part of a college sports family and pursue a degree in Sports Psychology or Kinesiology. Contributing to a championship and obtaining my undergraduate degree would be amazing goals to achieve!
