My name is Alexa England and I am a student at Lake Creek High School in Texas. This is my first year to play tennis at school. I began playing tennis for recreation at age 8, but in the past couple of years have become much more serious about tennis. Recently I won first place in a freshman singles tournament and took second place in a junior varsity doubles tournament. I plan to continue playing tennis throughout my high school career. Academically, I am ranked #7 out of 319 and have a GPA of 4.0. I am planning on attending college and have interests in the fields of Psychology, Medicine and Law.
I would be an exceptional candidate for a team because I am determined, persistent, and attentive both academically and athletically. I want to play tennis at the college level and possibly the professional level. I hope I can qualify for a tennis scholarship. My character traits include honesty, concern for others and enjoying challenging myself to be the best student athlete that I can be.
