In college I would like to pursue animal science or psychology. I make a good candidate for the team because tennis is my passion and I have been playing this sport since I was little. I am extremely dedicated to tennis, in terms of pushing myself through countless hours of practicing and putting in work to make myself better. Throughout my high school tennis career, I relentlessly demonstrated responsibility towards my teammates as captain. This allowed me to build a team-driven character for both on and off the court. Even growing up, my family took extra steps in integrating tennis into our daily lives. We participated and volunteered in many USTA conventions and events to give back to the tennis community. In addition to tennis, I also excel in academics. Throughout my years in high school, I have taken several AP classes and earned all A grades, making my class rank 51 out of 864 students in my class. I am involved/have been involved in several clubs at school including National Honor Society, Tri-M Club (music honor society), LEO Club (which I am also Treasurer of), Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society), YES Club (environmental), PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership and Service) , Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, and Varsity Band. In my free time, I like to volunteer at the WILCO animal shelter. Since I am a USTA official, I also officiate matches at various levels of play.
