I am excited to go to college and take my game to the next level. Tennis is not just a sport for me; it has helped shaped my character and allowed me to build incredible mental resilience. My years of tennis training and matches has made me into a strong player with an exceptional work ethic. But for most of it, it was just me, my parents and my coach. There have been ups and downs but during the last two years, those downs have been so much easier to manage with the support of a strong group of fun loving teammates. While you may stand on the court alone, you are not mentally alone when your teammates are right there cheering for you.
Playing tennis in college will allow me to thrive in a supportive community that shares my passion. By joining a college team, I know I will to get to learn from talented coaches and contribute to the team's success. I know college will be academically rigorous, but I love to learn and I am confident I can manage the significant demands on my time.
Playing in college will allow me to continue to grow as both a player and a student. With my determination, positive attitude and a genuine love for the game, I believe I could make a positive contribution to any college tennis program.
