My name is Zakiria Holifield. I am a Junior at Thompson High School of the Alabaster City Schools. I am a sprinter on our varsity team. I just finished indoor season. Outdoor season is coming up soon and I’m training hard to beat my personal records. I hold five high school records; 200m with a time of 24.42, 400m with a time of 59.68, 4x100 with a time of 47.47, 4x200 with a time of 1:44.95, and 4x400 with a time of 4:09.44.

I would love to compete at the collegiate level and plan to major in Elementary Education and would like to be a math teacher and eventually a principal and coach!
