Personal Statement
Perseverance in the face of a challenge. I challenge myself in all I do. This is reflected in my class selection, and in my extracurricular activities. Running is not an aspect of my life, but the piece that feeds my soul and heals my mind.
A runner may wear the same uniform as their team, they can predict splits and imagine whom they'll pace behind, but in the end, they stand alone. You fail or succeed on your own accord and willpower. Running is a choice. Running isn’t easy, it is inherently difficult and therein lies the choice to continue.
