My passion for running and cross country dates back to the 6th grade, a little over 6 years ago, where I excelled in almost every race, winning and improving each day. Once I got to high school I knew that cross country was something I wanted to focus a lot of my time alongside my academics. I immediately made the varsity team and placed in almost every race and individually made it to state every year.
While I was excelling in cross country I was also doing the same in the classroom. I took all honors and AP course earning A's and B's l, earning me a spot in the National Honors Society. I am also involved in FCCLA Culinary, being the Vice President and winning in state and national competitions with gold. Managing all this is never and issue for me as I enjoy everything I do, which is what helps me be able to do it.
I am committed to everything I do and I promise to preform to my highest potential. One of my biggest concerns in anything is to maintain the positive reputation my team and school holds, through my performance. Cross country and running is something I plan on committing myself to in order to help me improve each and every day alongside helping my teammates be able to reach their potential as well through leadership and encouragement.
