Personal Statement

Hello, I'm Bryanna Rodriguez, I am a senior at SACHS. I am currently 17 years old, and highly active. I would like to go to college and accomplish my long term goal. I'd like to get a track or basketball scholarship, and go professional one day. I also would like to accomplish becoming an investigator or possibly a Lawyer. I aspire to reach my goals, and I'm willing to work as hard as I have to accomplish these goals. I understand that it will take much time, and hard work to accomplish these goals, but I can do it. What makes me a good candidate is I never slack off, I pour my heart and 110% into track. I will never slack, and people can depend on me, and I won't hold back the team. What makes me different as an athlete is I practice everyday for 3-5 hours a day. I also do basketball and cross country on the off season to keep me in shape. I always practice, and try my hardest to do my best. In academics, I try hard and try to get a 4.0. I realized the better in academics I do, the more opportunities and scholarships will open up for me. My character differs from others because I am funny and laid back, but I know when to be serious and get down to business. If I'm running a race, and it's practice or a race I still put effort into it. I am serious and dedicated to track, and I feel everyone on a team should  be because if they aren't it holds back the team. My favorite quote is "One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel". I like to look at that quote and think if one person has a bad attitude, the whole team will have a bad attitude.

                                                              Thank you,

                                                            Bryanna Rodriguez

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
