During my freshman year of high school I was the only girl on the Varsity team which made me lack the team bonding experience but made me the strong runner I am today. Strong where I am able to look towards obstacles that I may face alone in regards of: CIF Prelims, CIF Finals, and league finals. My experience made me realize how much I want to be apart of a team to be able to contribute to a team title, to be able to encourage both my teammates and I to our goals. I believe I can bring: encouragement, support, and accountability to my future teammates at the collegiate level. Accountability, where one keeps themselves on track with GPA, grades, exams while still focusing on athletics. My work ethic is based on pursuing and never giving up. My GPA represents my work ethic being able to commit to both cross country, track & field, and my honor/AP classes. To have the GPA of a 4.83 required the confidence of asking for help with tutoring; being able to sacrifice time with friends to study another hour for a test: hours that I am willing to sacrifice for both the team and for my grades. I will admit that my SAT/ACT scores are not ideal but that itself define who I am. I define myself as hardworking, committed, inspired, and moved to find the right university. A university that provides majors in business specifically in Business Administration, management, and communications. A university preferably near California but I’m open to nationwide.
