I’m always aspiring to do better and be better. I work hard to achieve my goals and to help my teammates as well. I am a born leader, whether in stretches, on the track, or in class. In every sport, I’ve received team leader awards and spirit awards. I’m not afraid to start from scratch, and learn something new. In fact, I didn’t even start pole vaulting until the end of my freshman year. I cleared 8’ and knew I had found my sport. My sophomore year took me to CIF prelims with a 9’ 9” PR and my junior year I was League Champ with a 10’6” PR. Although sick on CIF prelims I still showed up to support my team. And while I’m disappointed in how my season ended I’m confident that I have plenty more height coming. I'm actively working to be stronger at my sport each day-physically and mentally. When not jumping, I’m usually reading, working out or spending time with my family. We love traveling and seeing new places. While my dream would be to pole vault for you on a college level, my goal is to also find a school that supports my high academic drive. I’m currently working per diem for a surgery center and it’s opened my eyes to the world of Anesthesiology. I’m planning to major in Biology and one day become a doctor.
