Hi my name is Paris, and I am a current senior in highschool and this will be my second year in highschool track. I currently have a 3.7-3.8 GPA. My goals for college is to study the fields of medical sciences and minor in Business entrepreneurship. My aspirations in life is to help others because of my own struggles with health, and being able to achieve beyond the boundaries my health has set for me. I want to be a business owner one day and work for myself, freedom, self satisfaction, and provide others with different job opportunities. I grew an interest in track for the reason that it was a very accepting sport, that taught me how to build a community and work alongside others. I am committed, disciplined, hard working, determined, enterprising, and strive to improve.
My last season on track was one of the hardest for me after being injured for the second half of the season. My ankle injury was the worst injury I had last season, and there wasn't much I was able to train or do. I suffer from chronic pain hip down all the way to the arches of my foot and it has been a challenge ever since. I was only able to do the best with what my body was able to handle. I took much needed time to take a break and did much conditioning over the summer to get back on track, and I am ready for what's to come. With the new school year starting I am ready to put in the work and give it my all, doing whatever I possibly can to succeed and reach as high as I possibly can with any future PR's. This coming season only has room for improve and I will work at nothing less to set new PR's.
