Kinara Oili-Young '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Kinara and I am a current Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School. I am originally from Hawai'i but have lived in Colorado for most of my life. I have 3 younger siblings and I think they would say I'm a pretty cool big sister. I also have a very large extended family. Coming from such a large family I have learned how to work well with different people with different backgrounds and beliefs. I have been throwing Discus and Shotput since middle school. I was hesitant at first to start throwing but I have grown to love it. Especially Discus. I am an honor roll student and like the challenge that comes with taking advanced classes. Currently, my aspirations are to double major and obtain a degree in both law and marketing. I would be so appreciative to be able to continue my throwing career into college.
